Nonprofit video FAQs
Something else on your mind?
Call 213-315-6197 How much does nonprofit video production cost?
It depends on crew size, shoot days and how many finished cuts you need. One shoot day can cover a mission film, a few beneficiary stories and social clips, which keeps the cost per video down. After a short scoping call we send a detailed, itemized estimate, so you know the full price before we film.
Do you offer nonprofit rates?
Tell us your budget on the first call. We scope the crew, shoot days and deliverables to fit it, and we can plan one shoot that feeds your gala film, donor appeals and social posts for the year, so every dollar goes further.
Can you film at our gala or fundraiser?
Yes. We film galas, benefit dinners, races and stage events, from the program and speeches to guest interviews. We can also screen your mission film at the event and cut a highlight video afterwards for donors who could not attend.
How do you handle consent for the people we serve?
Everyone who appears on camera signs a written release before filming, and a parent or guardian signs for minors. We can use your organization’s own release form, film people so they can’t be identified when privacy matters, and your team reviews every cut before it is published.
Can one shoot cover the gala film and social clips?
Yes. We plan the shoot so the same interviews and footage become your gala film, shorter donor appeals, social clips and grant report videos. One shoot day with your leaders and the people you serve can fill a year of fundraising content.
Can you make Spanish-language versions?
Yes. We can film interviews in Spanish, add Spanish subtitles, or deliver Spanish versions of your appeal and social clips, so your story reaches every community you serve.
How long does a nonprofit video take?
Most nonprofit video projects take four to six weeks from the first call to final delivery: about three weeks to scope the story and collect releases, one shoot day, then one to two weeks of editing and review. If your gala is sooner, tell us the date and we plan back from it.
Do you film outside Los Angeles?
Yes. We are based in Los Angeles with a second crew in Washington, DC, and we travel to your programs across the country. Our Race for Hopecam documentary followed a cyclist from coast to coast.
