Interview video production FAQs

How much does interview video production cost in Los Angeles?

It depends on cameras, locations and how many cuts you need. A single two-camera interview at your Los Angeles office costs far less than a series filmed across several offices or cities. The cost calculator gives you a starting range in about a minute, and after a short call we send a detailed estimate.

How long does an interview video take?

Most executive interviews take two to four weeks from the first call to the final cut. Planning and the question list come first, the shoot itself is usually half a day of your executive’s time, and the edit and social cuts follow. You sign off three times: the questions, the cut and the final files.

How do you prepare an executive for the camera?

We agree the topics on a short prep call, share the questions ahead of time and start the shoot with easy warm-up questions. Answers stay unscripted, so they sound natural, and the director keeps the conversation going so your executive never has to perform.

What should I say in an interview video?

Speak to one viewer, answer in full sentences that repeat the question, and tell one specific story instead of listing facts. We guide each answer on set and edit for the best take, so you don’t need to memorize anything.

Interview or teleprompter: which is better?

Use an interview when the goal is trust: a founder story, an expert explaining an idea or a conversation with a customer. Off-camera questions get natural answers that cut easily into clips. Use a teleprompter when exact wording matters, like an announcement or a policy update. Many shoots do both in the same setup.

Can you film at our office in Los Angeles?

Yes. Most executive interviews are filmed at the client’s office. We bring cameras, lights and sound to offices, boardrooms and clinics across LA County, from Downtown and Century City to Santa Monica, Burbank and Glendale, and can book a studio if your space doesn’t work. We also film in Washington, DC.

Can one shoot give us clips for LinkedIn and social?

Yes. One interview can give you the full film plus short talking-head clips for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. We plan the questions with clips in mind, then cut each strong answer into its own captioned video, so your executive sits down once and you get weeks of posts.

What is a talking head video?

A video where one person speaks to the camera or to an off-camera interviewer, framed from the chest up. It is the standard format for executive messages, founder stories and expert explainers, and the easiest to cut into short clips.
