Who we are

Honey Video is a video production company providing services including commercial and branded content, corporate video, interviews, event coverage, podcast production, studio design, and related creative services.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website and other direct interactions with Honey Video.

Information we collect

Information you give us

We may collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company or organization
  • Project details
  • Budget information
  • Production requirements
  • Messages submitted through contact or estimate forms
  • Information you provide when scheduling a call or requesting services

Information we collect automatically

We may also automatically collect certain technical information when you visit the website, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device information
  • Pages visited
  • Referring website
  • Approximate geographic location
  • Time spent on the website
  • Website interactions
  • Cookie and analytics data

We generally do not request sensitive personal information through our website.

How we use your information

We use information collected through the website to:

  • Respond to inquiries
  • Prepare project estimates and proposals
  • Schedule consultations
  • Provide our production services
  • Communicate about current or potential projects
  • Improve our website and services
  • Understand how visitors use our website
  • Maintain website security
  • Prevent spam, fraud, or abuse
  • Send marketing communications when you have opted in
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

We only use personal information for purposes reasonably related to your interaction with Honey Video.

Footage and likeness

As part of our production services, Honey Video may capture video, photography, audio recordings, interviews, performances, or other content that includes identifiable individuals.

When appropriate, Honey Video or the client commissioning the production may obtain releases, permissions, or other authorization allowing a person’s name, image, voice, likeness, performance, or statements to be recorded and used.

Footage and other production materials may be used for purposes outlined in the applicable project agreement, release, or client authorization. These uses may include:

  • Commercials and branded content
  • Corporate and internal communications
  • Websites and social media
  • Advertising and marketing
  • Documentary or editorial content
  • Event coverage
  • Promotional materials
  • Other agreed-upon distribution

Portfolio and promotional use

Unless the client requests otherwise in writing, the client grants Honey Video permission to display selected completed work, footage, and still frames in our portfolio, website, social media, reels, case studies, and other materials showcasing our services.

We will only share project material after the client has publicly released it, unless earlier use is approved in writing. Behind-the-scenes material requires separate client approval.

Clients may opt out by email before publication. If a client requests removal afterward, we will stop future use and remove the material from channels we control within a reasonable timeframe.

Any client agreement restricting publicity, confidentiality, or portfolio use takes priority.

Raw footage and project files

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Honey Video retains ownership of the raw footage, audio recordings, and editable project files we create. These materials are not included in the standard project fee or final deliverables.

This exclusion does not apply to projects booked specifically for footage capture, where the agreed deliverable is the footage itself. For those projects, footage delivery and the client’s usage or ownership rights will be specified in the production agreement. Editable project files remain excluded unless expressly included.

For other projects, clients who wish to purchase raw footage or project files must request them before production begins. We will provide a separate quote outlining the files included, applicable usage rights, and any agreed transfer of ownership. Delivery is subject to full payment and any third-party licensing restrictions.

Client-supplied materials remain the property of their respective owners. Any different ownership or delivery terms in the signed production agreement take priority.

Honey Video does not guarantee permanent storage of raw footage or project files. Long-term archival storage must be arranged separately.

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide your phone number and consent to receive text messages from Honey Video, we may contact you regarding inquiries, scheduling, project updates, or other communications related to our services.

Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required to purchase or use our services.

We do not sell or provide your mobile number to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

How you opt in

You can opt in by checking a box on our booking, contact, or estimate forms. There are separate boxes for appointment and project messages and for marketing messages. Neither box is checked in advance, and you don’t need to check either one to book a call or work with us.

Frequency, help and records

Message frequency varies. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information in the Contact us section. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, and we’ll send one final message confirming it.

We keep a record of when and how you opted in or out, including the form you used, so we can honor your choices.

Calls and marketing communications

If you provide your telephone number, we may contact you regarding an inquiry, estimate, consultation, or active project.

If you subscribe to marketing communications, we may occasionally send information about Honey Video’s services, projects, or other relevant updates.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the message or by contacting us directly.

Transactional communications relating to an active inquiry or project may still be sent when necessary.

Call tracking and recording

The phone number shown on our website may change depending on how you found us. This helps us understand which pages, ads, or campaigns lead to calls. When you call one of these numbers, we may log the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and the page or campaign it came from.

Calls may be recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping purposes. If a call is recorded, we tell you at the start of the call, and you can ask us not to record it.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate properly, remember preferences, analyze website traffic, and understand how visitors interact with the site. These may include:

Type What it does
Essential cookies Necessary for basic website functionality, security, forms, and navigation.
Analytics cookies Used to understand website traffic and how visitors interact with our pages.
Attribution cookies Remember which ad, campaign, or link brought you to our site, so we can tell which of our marketing leads to inquiries.
Session recording If enabled, records how visitors move through our pages, such as clicks, scrolling, and navigation, so we can improve the site. Form fields are masked, so what you type is not captured.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie preferences provided on our website. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to it, our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

We do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser, and we turn off advertising technologies.

  • In connection with a business transaction such as a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets

Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes unless you have provided consent or the sharing is otherwise permitted by law.

While no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, we take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.
