Video production services FAQs

What are video production services?

Everything it takes to turn an idea into a finished film: planning and scripting, a crew with camera, lighting and sound on shoot day, then the edit and the final formats. One team owns it from first call to final cut.

How much does a video cost?

It depends on the crew, shoot days, locations and final formats more than on length. Our cost calculator gives you a starting range in a minute, and after a short call we send a detailed estimate before anything is booked.

Which type of video do I need?

Start from the job the film has to do. Selling: a commercial, product video or customer testimonials. Teaching: a training video. Capturing a conference: event coverage. Putting a leader on camera: an executive interview. Still unsure? Book a call and we’ll point you to one.

How long does a video take, from first call to delivery?

Most projects take two to six weeks: about a week to scope, one to two weeks for the script, a shoot day or two, then a week of edit and delivery. Rush schedules are possible when locations and talent are ready.

Do you film outside Los Angeles?

Yes. We’re based in Los Angeles with a second crew in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland, and we travel for shoots elsewhere.

Why hire a production company instead of a freelancer or an agency?

A freelancer is one person with a camera. We bring a planned crew for camera, lighting and sound, and one person owns the brief, the shoot and the edit, from first call to final cut.

Do you handle editing and final formats?

Yes. We review the edit together and prepare the final formats your team needs.

How do we get started?

Send a few details about your goals, audience and timing, or give us a call, and we'll talk through the approach.
